Vendor Spotlight:MAYAN TRENDZ

Meet Erika Ramirez, owner of Mayan Trendz, a business celebrating the beauty, craftsmanship, and stories behind traditional Mayan creations.

The idea began after Erika returned to Guatemala for the first time in nearly 20 years. She brought home several handmade pieces for herself, and people kept asking where they could find them. Those conversations sparked a business, and she hasn’t looked back.

As a first-generation Guatemalan American, Erika works with Indigenous Mayan artisans to offer 100% handmade clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, pottery, and other unique accessories. She doesn’t just sell beautiful pieces. She shares the culture and story behind each one.

Erika recently helped a wedding party secure handmade belts within a tight deadline. By working closely with her artisan partner, she made it happen. That personal care and commitment to exceeding expectations are at the heart of Mayan Trendz.

Although Erika recently moved to Utah, Mayan Trendz still has a presence at Rustic & Modern Collective in Downtown Upland.
